Vladislav Bulakhov

The Seasons Chamber Orchestra was founded by Vladislav Bulakhov and performed its first concert in 1994 at the Central Artist's House. The Orchestra has participated in the "Russian Winter" and "Russia's Talents" Festivals, as well as in the First International Festival of Classical Guitar, and the Franz Schubert Festival, all in Russia. The orchestra has also performed in such thematic concerts as "Vienna Evenings," "Golden Epoch," and the "Music of North European Countries," as well as in concerts devoted to the memory of Y.Yankelevich, the 200th anniversary of Pushkin, and others.

Distinguished soloists who have performed with the orchestra include pianists, Naum Shtarkman, Boris Petrushansky, Henrietta Mirvis, and Zinaida Ignatyeva; violinists, Victor Pikaizen and Grigory Zhislin; and winners of international competitions, including Antigoni Goni (guitar, USA), Elena Voznesenskaya (soprano), Yevgeny Petrov (clarinet), Alexander Trostiansky (violin), Irina Chukovsky (piano) and Mikhail Lidsky (piano).


The orchestra made a tour of Germany in 1995 and performed in Taiwan in 1999, the same year that it was awarded the status of a "state orchestra." The orchestra's activities are regularly covered in the press and on the "Culture" TV channel, Radio Russia, and Orpheus Radio.
